Learn how to clean the interior and exterior of the refrigerator and freezer. Watch the videos for step-by-step guidance on proper cleaning.

1. Unplug the appliance or switch off.
2. Remove all the bottles.
3. Clean the interior of the appliance with mild, warm, soapy water and a soft cloth. Wipe dry.
4. Wipe the door seal with clear water and dry thoroughly with a cloth.
5. Switch the appliance back on and place the bottles back.

Unfortunately, you cannot remove rust.

To help ensure the appliance does not rust, always clean the stainless steel surface in the direction of the finish. When cleaning, use a mild cleaner and never use abrasive cleaners. After cleaning, use a stainless steel conditioner to condition the surface.

We recommend changing your water filter every 6 months or when your refrigerator or freezer alerts you to help achieve great-tasting water. To change your water filter, first, locate it. Refer to your owner's manualif you have trouble finding it.

The odor filter on Freestanding Refrigerators should only be replaced by authorized service providers, please contact Thermador Customer Support at 1-800-735-4328.
