Oven Troubleshooting

Please note, the length of the preheating time depends on the temperature setting. The higher the temperature, the longer the preheating time.

• Keep your oven clean - After each use, wait for the oven to cool, and wipe up any food spills within the cavity or racks. View Tips on How to Clean Your Oven. If needed, run a self-cleaning cycle (if available). Refer to your owner's manual for specific instruction on running it. If you do not have an owner's manual, you can download it here.

• Remove unneeded pans and racks - Before starting, remove extra pans and racks.

• Keep the oven door closed - Only open the door once the oven has fully preheated. Opening the oven door frequently decreases the internal temperature and will lengthen the preheating process.

If your baked goods come out consistently either too brown or light for your liking, try calibrating your oven. Calibrating allows you to fine-tune your cooking parameters to match your style and work with your recipes.

This function is available for select oven cooking modes. Refer to your owner's manual to see which cooking modes you can use this function for.

• 1. Go to the settings menu on your oven display.

• 2. Select TEMPERATURE OFFSET.

• 3. You can offset your oven by plus or minus 35°F in increments of 5°F.

• 4. After adjusting, save your settings. Your oven has been adjusted to fit your cooking preferences

Check for any obstructions in and around the oven door and check to see if the hinge is bent.

Warm air and steam are normal. Do not block the vent. Warm air or steam will come out of the oven as part of the cooling process.

If there is smoke coming out of the oven during initial use, this can be from factory oils. These will burn off. Rid oils faster by turning the oven on for 15 more minutes or by wiping the oven with hot, soapy water before use

Check to see if the oven is still in the self-cleaning mode. The door latch will release when the oven cools down.
