"Legal" Terms & Conditions For Selling Parts On The Internet

BSH Home Appliances Corporation (hereinafter, "BSH") appreciates your interest in its home appliance products and your visit to our website for the possible purchase of parts, accessories, cleaning products, and more (hereinafter referred to as "Merchandise"). Use of BSH web pages and any order of Merchandise from BSH CONSTITUTES YOUR AGREEMENT TO BE BOUND BY ALL OF THE FOLLOWING PROVISIONS. BSH reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time without notice.


In no event should you perform technical work or replace parts on your BSH appliance; you should only use an authorized service provider to work on your BSH product, including the replacement of any parts. BSH appliances are sophisticated products that require extensive technical training and expertise before one can safely and effectively work on them. Internal components may be sharp, cause shock, or may otherwise be hazardous. Contact BSH if you need a referral to an authorized service provider.


Self-installation, product tampering, parts replacement, or other work on a BSH product by you or anyone other than an authorized service provider, shall automatically VOID ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES on the parts and product, whether it be the manufacturer's warranty, or any warranty at law, express or implied. BSH recommends that you review the terms and conditions of your product warranty before ordering any parts; you may have a warranty or extended warranty in effect that may apply (provided you utilize an authorized service provider).


You assume all risk and liability if you decide to use anyone other than an authorized service provider for work on your appliance. In no event whatsoever shall bsh be liable to you or your family or to any other party for any damages, including special, punitive, consequential, direct or indirect, nor for any "act of god", whether or not foreseeable, nor shall bsh be liable for any acts or omissions of third parties, including without limitation those of an installer, dealer or servicer.


BSH shall provide a one (1) year limited warranty on all "defective" materials and workmanship for parts provided hereunder, solely limited to a repair or replacement remedy of the part itself (this limited warranty does not extend your standard product warranty in any way, and all standard restrictions such as customer abuse/misuse or third-party damage apply). BSH shall not be deemed to have made any warranty except as it may provide in writing, whether express or implied, including without limitation any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or warranty of merchantability. In any event, any warranty imposed at law shall not be effective for any period of time longer than the applicable period expressed in an applicable bsh standard product warranty. The manufacturer's warranty shall apply to any merchandise not manufactured by BSH.


It is your responsibility to provide accurate information on your product and to determine the proper Merchandise you may need or desire to order. At a minimum, you will need the product's model number and brand name. The database you have entered is a global database, and exact specifications are critical in order for BSH to properly assist you.


BSH will use commercial reasonable efforts to expedite your order and have it fulfilled as soon as possible. In most cases, depending on Merchandise availability, orders received before 10:00 am at the applicable BSH location will be processed by the following day. In any event, Merchandise orders are only fulfilled on an AS-AVAILABLE BASIS, AND BSH MAKES NO GUARANTEEES, REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES ON THE AVAILABILITY OF MERCHANDISE. Methods of shipping shall be determined in BSH's sole discretion. Parts are provided on a functionality basis only, and cosmetic features such as colors or surface textures may not match the product or model you have. This functional disclaimer does not apply to accessories. The manufacturer's warranty applies to all accessories, whether manufactured by a third party or BSH.


Open and inspect your Merchandise shipment immediately upon receipt.

To return Merchandise damaged in shipment or incorrect order: You must call BSH to receive a Return Authorization (RA) Number no later than ten (10) days after receipt of the order. Mail the Merchandise to BSH with the RA Number written on the package. Credit will be issued approximately three (3) days after BSH has reviewed and approved the return (credit may not show up on your credit card statement for 1-2 billing cycles).

For all other return Merchandise: You must call BSH to receive a Return Authorization (RA) Number no later than thirty (30) days after receipt of the order. Merchandise must be unopened in its original packaging, undamaged, and unused. You will be assessed a twenty-five percent (25%, based on BSH's list price of the Merchandise) restocking and handling charge for each returned item. Credit will be issued approximately three (3) days after BSH has reviewed and approved of the return (credit may not show up on your credit card statement for 1-2 billing cycles). BSH will not accept the return of electrical parts and components.

This web site (and any orders you place) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina without giving effect to its conflicts of law principles, including without limitation its validity, interpretation, construction, performance, enforcement, and all other matters arising out of or in relation hereto, and all the transactions it contemplates.
