Lime Margarita Pops

Lime Margarita Pops turn the bright, tangy flavor of a classic margarita into a playful frozen treat—fresh lime juice, a touch of orange liqueur and a splash of tequila (optional) churned and frozen for a perfectly refreshing pop. Easy to make and great for make‑ahead entertaining, these lime pops are equally at home poolside, at a backyard taco night, or served alcohol‑free for the whole family. Try a salted rim or a lime zest garnish to amp up the presentation.

Ingredients

10-12 servings:

2 cups (480ml) water

3/4 cup (180ml) fresh lime juice

1/2 cup (120ml) tequila

1 cup (200g) sugar

1/2 teaspoon orange bitters

Optional – kosher or sea salt, for garnishing pops

Instructions

Step 1

Soak wooden pop sticks in a glass of warm water for at least 30 minutes.

Step 2

Stir together all ingredients (except optional salt) until sugar is dissolved.

Step 3

Divide mixture between ice pop molds.

Step 4

Insert pop sticks and freeze for 4 hours or until completely solid. For an optional salted pop top, just before serving dip the tips of the unmolded pops in a bit of kosher or sea salt.
