Ingredients

2 servings:

Rosemary Simple Syrup:

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup sugar

Two 3-inch sprigs rosemary

Cocktails:

4 ounces vodka

1 ounce fresh squeezed lemon juice

1 ounce rosemary simple syrup (or regular simple syrup)

About 4 ounces club soda

Handful of fresh or frozen whole cranberries

2 sprigs of rosemary

Instructions

Make Rosemary Simple Syrup

Step 1: Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally to make sure all the sugar dissolves. Boil for about 2 minutes then remove from heat.
Step 2: Add the sprigs of rosemary and allow to cool. Store in a glass jar and refrigerate until ready to use.

Make The Cocktail

Step 1: Combine the vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup in an iced filled shaker.
Step 2: Shake vigorously for 15 seconds, then strain and divide the mix between 2 ice filled old fashioned glasses (the glasses should be about 3/4 full).
Step 3: Add a few cranberries to each of the cocktails, then top with club soda (about 2 ounces each cocktail).
Step 4: Finish by adding a sprig of rosemary to each of the cocktails to use as a stirrer. Give each cocktail a little swirl to incorporate the club soda and serve.
