Air Fryer Parmesan Meatballs

Ingredients

4-5 servings:

For the meatballs:

1/2 pound ground beef

1/2 pound ground pork

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan

1/4 cup finely minced shallots or onion

1 egg

3 tablespoons minced parsley

3 cloves garlic

1 teaspoon salt

Black pepper, to taste

Oil or oil spray, for coating meatballs

For serving:

Tomato sauce

Bread

Pasta

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F on Air Fry Mode for about 15 minutes. Line a baking sheet pan with parchment paper or foil.

Step 2

Mix the meatball ingredients until evenly combined (ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, parmesan, shallot/onion, egg, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper).

Step 3

Form the mixture into 1.5” meatballs. Spray parchment with oil. Place meatballs on top and spray oil over meatballs.

Step 4

Air fry the meatballs at 400°F for 15 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through. Test one meatball and if it is still pink in the middle, air fry for additional 2-4 minutes or until cooked through the center.

Step 5

Serve with tomato sauce and bread as appetizer or serve with spaghetti or your favorite pasta.
