King Cake Latte

This festive coffee drink is perfect for Mardi Gras and serving it with a gorgeous beignet party board. This latte is also great for any fun occasion by adding different colored or decorative sprinkles over it. Customize the drink to your personal sweetness and alcohol level. A non-alcoholic version is equally delicious.

Ingredients

1 serving:

1 Tablespoon brown sugar, or to taste

1 Tablespoon caramel sauce

Couple pinches ground cinnamon

1 Tablespoon optional cognac, or to taste

Optional, blue spirulina for dusting

Optional, gold sparkling sugar, for dusting

Instructions

Step 1

In the bottom of a 16oz mug, mix the brown sugar, caramel sauce, cinnamon, and optional cognac. Stir until well combined.

Step 2

Set the mug on the Thermador coffee machine and make a 15oz. latte.

Step 3

Dust with the optional blue spirulina and gold sparkling sugar
