Strawberry Margarita Pops

Bright, tangy and delightfully refreshing, these Strawberry Margarita Pops turn a classic cocktail into a fun frozen treat — perfect for backyard barbecues, pool days, or any sunny afternoon. Ripe strawberries and zesty lime shine alongside tequila and orange liqueur (or omit for a kid-friendly version), creating a perfect balance of sweet, tart and boozy (optional) flavors. Easy to make ahead and endlessly shareable, they’re a playful way to cool down while keeping the spirit of a margarita intact. Serve with a salted rim or extra lime wedges for a festive finishing touch.

Ingredients

4-6 servings:

1 pound (455g) fresh strawberries, green tops removed

1/2 cup (120ml) tequila

1/2 cup (100g) sugar

1 1/2 cups (360ml) water

1/3 cup (80ml) fresh lime juice

1/2 teaspoon orange bitters

Instructions

Step 1

Soak wooden pop sticks in a glass of warm water for at least 30 minutes.

Step 2

Blend all ingredients until smooth and sugar is dissolved. Strain through a wire mesh strainer and skim any excess foam from the top of the mixture.

Step 3

Divide mixture between ice pop molds.

Step 4

Insert pop sticks and freeze for 4 hours or until completely solid.
