How to Use ExtraLow® Burners

ExtraLow® burners keep a consistent, low simmer, which prevents your food from burning or scorching. When cooking with this feature, the flame will turn off and on for varying lengths of time to reduce the heat. We recommend using this setting for simmering delicate foods such as chocolate and butter.
How to Use the Griddle

Use the griddle to fry pancakes and all sorts of meats and vegetables.
Before turning on the griddle, please do the following things:
- Make sure your griddle is properly assembled. Refer to your owner's manual to learn how to do this.
- Refer to your owner's manual to learn how to turn on the griddle for your model
Here are some useful tips for using the griddle:
- Use the lowest cooking temperature possible.
- Do not use metal utensils on the griddle surface. This can damage the surface. We recommend using plastic or wooden utensils.
- Do not cut food directly on the griddle.
- You can use the griddle without butter or oil but we recommend using a small amount to flavor your food.

Use the grill to cook delicious steaks, kebabs, seafood and more!
Before grilling, please do the following things:
- Make sure your grill is properly assembled. Refer to your owner's manual to learn how to do this.
- Turn the hood on for 10 minutes.
- We recommend coating the food with heat-resistant oil (e.g. peanut oil) to marinate it. Make sure to not use too much oil/marinade, or it may catch fire and generate a thick smoke.
- Refer to your owner's manual to learn how to turn on the grill for your model.
Here are some useful tips for grilling:
- Preheat the grill for a minimum of 10 minutes before cooking.
- To prevent flare-ups, remove excess fat from foods before grilling.
- Lay the food directly on the grill grates. Do not use aluminum foil or grill trays with the grill.
- If you are cooking foods with wooden skewers, soak the skewers in water for a minimum of 20 minutes before threading the food and placing it on the grill.
- To soak up fat on the grill plate, sprinkle coarse salt onto the grilling surface after use.
