Figs are such a classic Fall fruit. Bacon makes everything tastes better. Although there are many variations to this classic bacon-wrapped fig dish, Kellie elevated her version with a rosemary honey-dipped infusion and an optional side of orange + honey balsamic vinaigrette. Easy to make, easy to eat, and perfect for holiday entertaining.

Easy Cooking Level, Prep/Cook Time: approx 30mins total

Main Ingredients:
3 Figs
3 Strips of bacon
1 tablespoon of honey
3 twigs of rosemary
Dash of salt + pepper

Ingredients for orange + honey vinaigrette (optional):
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed orange juice
Dash of salt + pepper

Cut figs into quarters (try not to cut all the way through). Then, dip twigs of rosemary in honey (coat thoroughly). Next, place the honey-dipped rosemary in the center of the fig. Wrap fig w/ bacon. Lightly brush the bacon-wrapped fig w/ honey. Season w/ a dash of salt and pepper, then bake at 325 for about 15-20 mins or until bacon has the golden crispy crust.

Orange + honey vinaigrette:
Beat the vinegar in a bowl (using fork or whisk) with honey, orange juice, salt and pepper. Slowly beat in the oil, whisking constantly until oil and vinegar combine.
Drizzle the vinaigrette on top of the bacon-wrapped figs and serve!
