For the dough:
125 g butter
70 g caster sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 grated orange peel
150 g flour
100 g grated walnuts.

For the cream:
400 ml milk
100 ml white wine
3 egg yolks,
1 vanilla
1 teaspoon orange peel
6 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons flour.

Refrigerate dough while you prepare the apples and cream. Put milk and wine to heat and mix the remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Mix the yolks with sugar, flour and little cold milk, then pour it into the milk. Return to heat and stir until you have a thick cream.

Slice apples with a potato peeler into thin strips, and a little apricot jam spreads.

Put in place a form of pie dough into the bottom and shape with your fingers until it equals the entire bottom shape and tall enough to lift you out cream. Pour the cream and garnish with apple roses. Spread florets with diluted apricot jam. Bake in preheated 180 degree oven until heated the swamps and apples. Serve the pie completely chilled.

The most  difficult of the whole recipe is cutting five apples into strips with patato peeler.
