Blackberry Baked Custard

This recipe came about because Angie's neighbors have Jersey Cows (Jersey Cow Milk being one of the ingredients). Its simple but nourishing and comforting.

2 cups Jersey Cow Milk - don't skim off the cream (add 1/2cup of cream to the milk if its store-bought)
4 eggs
1 tablespoon of raw sugar
1 cinnamon stick
1 dash of vanilla essence
Fresh Blackberries

Whisk eggs and sugar lightly, then add to milk. Throw in cinnamon stick and vanilla, pour into a shallow baking dish, and place dish into a tray of boiling water. Bake at 350 F, until set.

Dump fresh ripe blackberries on top before serving.
