Thermador Culinary Village

For those who love fine wine and amazing food, Charleston, S.C., is the place to be this weekend at the annual Charleston Wine + Food festival.  Amidst the celebration of the city’s amazing culture and outstanding cuisine, Thermador is cooking up excitement in the Hands-On Kitchen within the festival’s Culinary Village. There, culinary enthusiasts have the opportunity to hone their skills alongside renowned area chefs during interactive cooking sessions on innovative Thermador appliances – and experience the cooking performance of Thermador.

Cooking on Thermador Range

Those who prefer to watch professionals in action will want a front-row seat on Saturday March 5 at 10:30am during the annual Waffle House Smackdown cooking competition. The ultimate cooking power of Thermador will be on display as the competing chefs put their culinary chops to the test to see who reigns supreme. Bon Appetit magazine’s Andrew Knowlton will serve as host and referee over this year’s competitors: Chris Hall of Local Three, Joshua McFadden of Ava Gene’s, Annie Pettry of Decca and Chris Shepherd of Underbelly.
