With the most product launches in the history of Thermador (and the luxury appliance category), 2012 came to be known as the Year of Thermador.
Thermador hit the ground running in 2012 with the arrival of the long-anticipated Pro Grand Steam Range, our brand’s most compelling cooking appliance — the Freedom Induction Cooktop — and a Freedom Refrigeration line that was fully rethought, reengineered and refined with more than 100 innovations and technical improvements.
Culinary enthusiasts also rejoiced with introduction of Thermador’s most dynamic dishwasher – the Star-Sapphire Dishwasher, a new drawer concept MicroDrawer Microwave, and the next evolution of Thermador’s signature Built-in Wall Oven line.
Never before has a kitchen appliance company stamped such an impact on the luxury market the way Thermador did over the past 12 months.
As a result, Thermador garnered numerous industry accolades and experienced extraordinary growth despite the down economy and housing market. It’s a remarkable story that we are proud to tell, and we attribute our success to the support of our dealer partners and the many customers who have evangelized our brand story.
So where do we go from here?
In 2013, our aim is to elevate the excitement we generated in the Year of Thermador to further galvanize our brand story of providing the ultimate cooking experience with distinctive, innovative, stylish products that push the boundaries of convention.
One of the year’s key initiatives is to deepen Thermador’s relationship with those best qualified to bring to life all of the kitchen innovations we’ve introduced for the culinary enthusiast – the professional kitchen designer. Without giving away too much, we can tell you that 2013 will see a multifaceted marketing and outreach effort to drive home the fact that Thermador is the kitchen designer’s brand of choice.
So thank you to our partners and customers for making 2012 the Year of Thermador, and we hope you share our enthusiasm as we look forward to 2013 as the next chapter in Thermador’s storied history.
