Thermador Partners With Nahb And Its 20 Clubs Program

The luxury appliance brand expands its commitment to the homebuilding industry by becoming a 2010 sponsor

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (July 30, 2010) – Luxury appliance brand Thermador Home Appliances has partnered with the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) as a 2010 corporate sponsor of the 20 Clubs Program.

Thermador brings its iconic 75-plus-year history to the 20 Clubs Program, a group of similar type builders from non-competing markets that meet throughout the year to share best business practices. The NAHB, in existence since 1942, is a trade association that helps promote the policies that make housing a national priority. It is currently most widely known for its Housing Market Index (HMI), which measures builder confidence.

In becoming a corporate sponsor, Thermador marks its initial foray into the program and joins existing sponsors Lowe’s Commercial Services, Lutron Electronics and the Propane Education & Research Council. The sponsorship consists of supporting numerous networking events and marketing campaigns for the 20 Clubs members and prospects, and providing educational opportunities to members. Thermador’s sponsorship became effective June 1, 2010.

"We are thrilled to be a sponsor of this program, and know we can contribute valuable information about the luxury appliance category gleaned from our 75-plus years of experience serving builders," said Zach Elkin, director of Thermador’s luxury division. "Thermador is no stranger to the homebuilding industry, having dedicated numerous programs and expanded its commitment to the trade professional in recent years. The brand also has a deep history in innovation and industry firsts — which makes this latest step for Thermador no surprise."

Sponsors and members of the 20 Clubs Program gather several times a year to discuss the homebuilding industry, looking for ways to improve their operations and increase their bottom lines. Participants share and compare information, look for trouble spots and offer each other advice on how to increase their profit ratios and improve their performance.
