CANDICE'S BIOGRAPHY
Candice Olson is one of North America’s leading professional Interior Designers. Her signature style incorporates creativity, practicality and timelessness to create a sophisticated but accessible design. Her work reflects her personality – warm and inviting with a touch of irreverence. Candice Olson attended the University of Calgary where she simultaneously worked on her Bachelor of Science degree while travelling the globe playing volleyball for the Canadian National Women’s Volleyball Team. Candice soon headed for Toronto where she attended the school of Interior Design at Ryerson University. Scouted for her remarkable talent upon graduation, Candice honed her skills for several years in many of Canada’s top interior design firms before establishing her own residential and commercial design practice Candice Olson Design in 1994. In the Fall of 2002, Divine Design with Candice Olson debuted on Canada’s W Network and quickly established itself as one of the network’s flagship shows. In the fall of 2003 the series made its debut in more than 80 million homes in the U.S on Home & Garden Television (HGTV). With outstanding reviews and a dedicated and ever-expanding viewership, Candice continues to make her mark as one of the most qualified and gifted professionals in the Interior Design field.
